Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13.04.2026

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information about users of the L2 Info Hub website (the “Site”), and the rights users have in relation to their data.

The Policy applies to all visitors and users of the Site, including registered users and persons who sign in via third-party providers (OAuth).

1. Definitions

  • User — any person visiting the Site.
  • Administration — the Site owner and/or authorized persons operating the Site.
  • Personal data — information relating to a User that allows direct or indirect identification (within the meaning of applicable law).
  • Processing — any operation performed on data, such as collection, recording, organization, storage, updating, use, transfer, anonymization, blocking, deletion, etc.

2. Data we collect

We may process the following categories of data:

  • Account data: display name, email address, password (stored as a hash), registration date, profile settings.
  • Data you publish on the Site: texts (server descriptions, reviews), links, images (avatar, server logo/banner, etc.).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, interface language, cookies, session identifiers, security/diagnostic log data.
  • Activity data: actions within the Site (sign-in/out, voting, creating/editing server cards, submitting forms, etc.), including rate limits (anti-fraud).
  • OAuth data (when signing in via Google / VK / Discord): provider user ID, display name, and email if provided. We do not receive your password at the provider.
  • Payment data (if you use paid Site features): payment metadata and transaction status. Card details and other payment secrets are processed by payment providers; the Site generally does not receive full card numbers or CVC/CVV.

3. Sources of data

  • Data you provide directly (registration, profile, server listings, reviews, etc.).
  • Data generated automatically when you use the Site (technical/log data, cookies).
  • Data received from OAuth providers when you explicitly choose to sign in.
  • Data received from payment providers in connection with payments.

4. Purposes of processing

We process data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and maintaining accounts, authentication and access recovery;
  • Providing Site features: server ranking, user cabinet, forms, and service operations;
  • Moderating user content and enforcing Site rules;
  • Ensuring security, preventing abuse, manipulation, and attacks, and investigating incidents;
  • Processing user requests and improving the Site;
  • Serving and accounting for banners, paid features, settlements, and operational records;
  • Traffic analytics and UX improvements (including cookies and analytics tools).

5. Legal bases

Depending on the situation, processing may rely on:

  • your consent (for example, where required for analytics cookies);
  • performance of the agreement / Site rules (for example, registration and cabinet features);
  • legitimate interests of the Administration (security, abuse prevention, protection of rights);
  • compliance with legal obligations (for example, accounting rules where applicable).

6. Cookies and analytics

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for operation, security, and analytics. A cookie is a small piece of data stored in your browser.

6.1. Analytics services we may use

For traffic measurement and quality improvements, we may use:

  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) — a tag management tool that can load analytics and other scripts;
  • Yandex.Metrica — web analytics that may collect technical visit data (cookies/browser identifiers, device parameters, on-page activity) according to counter settings;
  • LiveInternet — a traffic counter that may collect technical visit data.

These services are third parties; their data practices are governed by their own policies.

6.2. Types of cookies

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site, sessions, form security (including CSRF), and protection;
  • Functional — remember your settings (for example, language);
  • Analytics — measure traffic and behavior (GTM / Yandex.Metrica / LiveInternet).

6.3. Legal notice (including Russian law)

Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable law, including, where relevant, Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ “On Personal Data”. Where consent is required for non-essential analytics cookies, such technologies are used based on consent or other lawful grounds depending on the case and your/browser settings.

You can restrict or disable cookies in your browser or use tracking-protection modes/extensions. Some Site features (including sign-in and forms) may not work correctly without certain cookies.

7. Sharing with third parties

We may share data only as needed to operate the Site and pursue the stated purposes, including:

  • OAuth providers (Google / VK / Discord) — as part of the sign-in flow you initiate;
  • Payment providers — to process payments and confirm transaction status;
  • Hosting/infrastructure providers — to store data and run the Site;
  • Government authorities — when required by lawful request.

We do not sell personal data.

7.4. Balance top-ups and refunds

The Site may let you top up your account balance and purchase paid options (for example, banner placements) using internal accounting units (“tokens”). For this Policy, “account balance” means your balance on the Site.

Prepayments. Funds you add are treated as a prepaid balance to pay for selected paid features. Before topping up, ensure the features you need are available and your details are correct.

Payment method. Payments are made electronically via integrated payment systems/agents. Card data entry and processing occur on the payment provider side; we generally do not receive full card numbers or CVC/CVV.

Fees and conversion. Any fees, FX, or deductions are determined by the payment channel. You bear those costs.

Refunds. Refunds may be available as required by law or for justified cases (erroneous charge, technical failure). Generally:

  • no refund for funds already spent on delivered digital services/options;
  • promotional bonuses/discounts are non-refundable unless the promo terms say otherwise;
  • we may ask for transaction details to verify a request (date, amount, provider reference, etc.).

Use the Site’s contact channels (for example, cabinet feedback, if available) for refund requests.

8. Cross-border processing

Depending on services used (OAuth, analytics, CDN, etc.), some technical data may be processed outside your country. We take reasonable care when choosing providers and aim to minimize transferred data.

9. Retention

We retain data as long as necessary for the processing purposes or as required by law, in particular:

  • account data — until you delete the account or we act for breaches;
  • user-published content — may be kept for service integrity unless law or agreement requires otherwise;
  • security logs — for reasonable periods to investigate and prevent abuse.

10. Security

We apply reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect data. No online transmission or storage is 100% secure.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may have the right to:

  • receive information about processing;
  • request correction/updates;
  • request deletion where there is no lawful ground to continue processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing is consent-based;
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Use available Site channels (for example, cabinet feedback) to exercise rights where offered.

12. Responsibility for user content

User content (descriptions, reviews, images, links, including ranking entries) is posted by users. The Administration is not responsible for accuracy, legality, or consequences of such content, nor for third-party sites linked by users. We may remove or restrict content that violates rules, third-party rights, or law.

13. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, servers listed in the ranking). We do not control their content or privacy practices — review their policies separately.

14. Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is published on this page and is effective upon publication.

15. Contact

For privacy-related questions, use the contact options available on the Site.
